Like: Calpico – Ramens perfect accompaniment

Went out for Ramen with Evan, Adam, Nick,  and George earlier in the week. I decided to order the most obscure drink on the menu (I was familiar with none of the drinks).  Anyhoo, they didn’t have the drink I was after so they gave me this:

“‘Calpico’ the softer sensation”

This stuff is crazy. it contains lactose, it is uncarbonated. I was expecting milk in a can. I dont even know what it tasted like but it was perfect with the ramen! it was kinda like a smooth milky sherbet. Or somethin, i dont really know. All I do know is that I will be going back for more today!

Like: food that fits in my drink holder

 I went out for a snack yesterday sometime around lunch. It turns out that there is a new kebab shop not far from where I live. So I grabbed me a kebab. And what a kebab!

This thing was gorgeous! it was tasty and expertly made – perfectly round. This Turkish guy sure can roll a kebab.  So i took it back to my car for the short drive home. When I got to the car and set down my drink in the cup tray, I noticed that the diameter of the cup carrier was very similar to that of the kebab. I could go on, but needless to say it was a perfect fit! I was a happy camper.

Yay for conveniently shaped/sized food!

My Hobby: trying to embarrass supermarket clerks

Blatant theft of Xkcd humor, but xkcd is so damn good that I just find myself thinking everything through a Randall Munroe filter of some sort… yeah weird. If you dont know xkcd, go there now! heathen.

So yeah back to the blog. I like to try and embarrass our supermarket clerks! so fun. Let me explain: Last night my girlfriend and I did the supermarket shopping. We bought a whole bunch of stuff but as usual missed a few essentials; we bought strawberries but forgot the chocolate dipping sauce! so naturally we had to make a return visit.

So we walk into a different supermarket and pick up some chocolate dipping sauce and casually walk round the aisle and pick up a pack of profilactics. Laughing at the two items in our shopping basket and how dodgy a combination they are, we decide to take it way out of left field and buy some ‘up-and-go’ liquid cereal and walk arm and arm smiling mischievously as we approach the checkout. Boy did we get some strange looks

new favorite website!

ok so I was reading the ‘frantic industries’ blog today and it directed me to this. coolest website ever!
I totally had my doubts when I heard that its a book written by anyone and everyone with no direction whatsoever, but I got such a sunshine happy feeling inside when I wrote something and published it!
Such a simple idea. I love it!

remember when you were a kid and not much was more fun than a rainy day. then you got old and decided that rain sucks coz it gets you wet and cold. afternoon showers on a rainy day with the window open just a little is the compromise that i discovered this afternoon – its raining outside, you can see it happening, your all wet (but not cold). its perfect!

Inspired

wow. I’m suddenly inspired to write a lot more!

newerest addition will be the addition of two new catagories; likes and dislikes, which will be slowly filled with thoughts I have about thinks that i like or dislike. Sounds boring? sounds fun to me and I’m the blogger so HA!

basically I’m inspired to do this from my friend grg whom on his blog has a ‘gripes’ catagorie. I like it – Needless to say I am stealing this. Got me thinking about those stupid interviews you find in magazine interviews with celebrities you know those stupid questions whats your pet hate etc… So i figure ill start making lists now so when i’m famous later ill be prepared to overload those pesky journalists with obscure answers. HA!
