Billy’s second day in Wellington

Just went to go and buy a copy of American Gothic from Real Groovy in wellington. The dude behind the counter told me that Billy was in store yesterday (tuesday 18th). Said he was there for like 30mins before any of the staff recognized him! He was apparently buying ‘old 60’s records’ with two ‘chicks’ one of which was probably Kirsten Burns judging by the description.
All very exciting stuff.
Lol, my blog is turning into a tabloid magazine. sigh.
First Billy sighting!

So I was at the last day of the NZ vs England test match today at the Basin Reserve in wellington today (New Zealand lost 
) and they announced over the loud speaker that Billy Corgan had come to the match to watch. so i immediately get excited and start freaking out. Anyway at the end of the game he went onto the field and talked to some press people and walked around, i managed to take a pic or two – mind you from a distance.

Following that i went out the back of the stadium and saw him in his car driving away, i called out happy birthday to him but he didnt seem to notice, the girl with him waved 
sooo exciting!
So anyway if you ever manage to read this Billy, welcome to Wellington, it’s a pleasure having you here, and Happy Birthday

ok new project.
I am going to turn an old radio (pictured below) into an ipod dock stereo thing. yes it will be had and yes ill probably screw it up, but hey, what can i say, if it works it’ll be awesome:) as i plan it ill post pics andkeep you all up to date on progress

if you don’t feel like following links, that means that the smashing pumpkins have announced on their website that they’ll be in wellington on the 19th of March 2008. We kinda already knew this, but now its official!
I’ll be attending, and after the show i’ll be posting the setlist here with my thoughts on the concert so check back later all you pumpkin fans!

it makes me so mad! My Zeitgeist album is the worst of all – first 9 songs or so are twice the volume of pretty much everything else in my collection, then the last couple of tracks have half the volume of the rest! grrrr!
new goal: find a program that can normalise my entire collection at once

found this. Some dude has decided to have an international delete your myspace account day. I am in total agreement. Myspace sucks and this Tom guy really needs to hear that.
myspace has only done one thing for me – it was pretty huge… When in Madrid on tour following the pumpkins I found a secret SP show through myspace. Well it was organised by a myspace group or something. Well anyway the show was amazing (not to mention free!) and it wouldn’t of happened without myspace. But still! come January 30th I will no longer have a myspace account – that is if I can remember my login details…
