dislike: new tooth
November 20, 2007
new tooth (tooth v2.5) is slightly wider at the bottom than tooth v2.4 was. I preferred tooth v2.4 more. it was slimmer and taller and just sexier! tooth v2.3 was fat. 2.1 was too long ago to remember and 2.2 only lasted 6 months. I wonder what toothv2.0 would have looked like<dwellonpast>…</dwellonpast>
As you might have noticed, I’ve been through a number of right-hand-side front teeth. This all started when I was much younger, about my 2nd year of primary school, it was tooth 2.0 at that point.
It was a frosty morning before the first class started. I had already decided that I didn’t like school and was looking for ways to get out of it. We had a set of concrete ‘tunnels’ in the playground, quite common in New Zealand country primary schools. I guess they are cheaper than jungle gyms. Anyway as mentioned it was particularly frosty. The tunnels had a good layer of ice on them and i was playing around with some ‘friends’. I saw the ice on the tunnels and had a great idea for skipping morning class. I would stick my tongue to the ice and then I wouldn’t be able to attend! Brilliant! So I put my tongue on the frostiest bit of concrete and waited.
I waited all of 2 seconds before my ‘friend’ Mathew Walker to push my head into the tunnel which smashed my tooth to pieces. (actually he touched the back of my head and i pulled off then stupidly tryed again, this time he actually pushed me into it! kids are sooo stupid)
So that was the end of tooth v2.0. It wasn’t all a loss though. I managed to get the whole day off school!
HUZZAH!
